Where should I put the new copy?

Your writing project includes a list of questions your page does not answer and questions that your page partially answers.

RivalFlow uses AI to answer those questions for you via new copy. Then, we show you exactly where you can add that new copy so it its with your existing text.

Here's where to look.

For Questions You Don't Answer

Look for the "Show Me Where It Goes" button and click. You will see an outline of your article with an "add new copy here" sign. Of course you can edit your page however you want. This just speeds things up and takes a little work out of the process.

Since you haven't answered this question yet, it's a new topic. It can drop in between other topics with a simple transition. Copy and paste in the answer.

For Questions You Partially Answer

It's a 3-step process--shown on the image below.

We want to keep your partial answer, so RivalFlow blends it in with the new copy. Here's how to add the updated answer smoothly.

Your existing page (blog post, article, etc.) should be in edit mode so you can make changes. We'll refer to that as "your page."

1. Find the entire existing snippet on your page. Use the link in the blue box if you need help seeing exactly where it is.

2. Go back to the writing project. The green box is your suggested new text. Use the Copy to Clipboard button to copy all of the text.

3. Replace the snippet that you found on your own page in Step 1 with the new text from your clipboard. Save and publish.

This feature is available only on writing projects that were generated after August 7, 2024.

BETA Option: As of April 2025 there is a new option being tested that blends every answer from the writing project with your existing article so that you can update your page in one move.

Choose "Copy Contents of Page with RivalFlow Improvements Added." Paste into your editor in place of your existing text*.

*Please note that this feature is currently in beta, so be mindful of any images and (outbound) links that you might need to re-add.

Find it in the Copy options at the top of the project.
